The DeGraff volunteer fire department was established in 1880 and has been providing fire protection to the village of DeGraff, Ohio since that time. We treasure our history as we still possess the first engine DeGraff purchased in 1929. We are committed to fire and injury prevention and our members are actively involved in our community.
The current firehouse is located at 117 S. Main St. in DeGraff and our department services 43 square miles and covers a population of around 2600 people. We currently have 18 volunteer firefighters on the department and our apparatus consists of 2 engines, 1 tanker, and 1 grass truck.
With our dedicated volunteer firefighters and apparatus, we have been able to execute call volumes running between 60-100 calls per year.
Training and providing quality service to our community is the primary focus of the DeGraff Fire Department. We continually strive to find new and better ways to improve services to the community.
